Backstage Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013, Exclusive Details & Sneak Peak of Runway Looks
As the Victoria Secret models prepared for the annual runway show on Wednesday, Nov. 13, they spoke to Enstars about the looks going down the runway -- psychedelic color, snow angels, a Buckingham Palace guard and more -- and what viewers can expect from the star-studded event.
While Izabel Goulart could not pick one thing she was excited about for the show, saying she looked forward to "everything," Behati Prinsloo was a bit more descriptive.
The fiancee of Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine said she was really excited about the "big white wings" she wore for the "Snow Angels" portion of the show. The Africa native, who was singing outloud Ready or Not by Fugees outloud when Enstars first met her, walked the runway in a set of wings made of white features that she wore over a diamond-encrusted lingerie set as Taylor Swift performed I Knew You Were Trouble.

Another look she sported that night, during the "British Invasion" section, was Victoria Secret's take on England's Buckingham Palace guard. Prinsloo wore a red, black and gold corset and matching jacket, red knickers and a pair of thigh-high black boots. The ensemble was finished off with a pair of Victoria's Secret's iconic wings in black and gold.
Talking about what viewers can expect to see from the fashion show, she simply said "a lot of hot babes and big wings." The 24-year-old would not reveal details about her upcoming wedding to Levine, but did talk about what turns her on. In her eyes, what is sexy in a guy is "his attitude, his sense of humor and how kind he is to other people."
As for what makes a woman sexy, she said "[It's] how she carries herself, how she is with other people and her demeanor."
Goulart chimmed in and said "what makes a man sexy his personality [and] being happy."
Jessica Hart, who walked in this year's PINK section, said confidence makes a woman attractive and in men, their gender needs "not too much confidence," she joked.
Hart took to the runway in a colorful and fun ensemble for PINK that she accompanied with a smiley face balloon down the catwalk.
"I love the PINK section. it's a little bit more playful and I think that suits me perfectly so I'm really excited," she said. "Viewers can expect to see a spectacular show. They just get better and better."
A total of 40 models walked the runway this year, more than ever before, and the show presented 67 looks and 28 pairs of wings. One of the most talked about items to go down the 100-foot glittery runway was the $10 million Fantasy Bra worn by Candice Swanepoel and designed by Mouawad. The piece, which comes with a belt, features over 4,200 gems including rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires set in 18 carat gold and in the center there is a huge 52-carat ruby. Swanepoel wore the bra on the runway with white, long gloves and a mini hat that was tilted on her head.
Barbara Fialho raved about the first pairs of wings she wore during the "Parisian Night" segment that was accessorized with a hat formed to look like the Eiffel Tower. The Brazilian could not wait for Swift, one of the night's performers, to take to the stage and close the show with a number.
Others who performed at the fashion show were Neon Jungle, Fall Out Boy and A Great Big World.
Kelly Gale revealed details of her black-beaded corset, bra and panties that had beading down the side of her leg while Martha Hunt explained her outfit down during the "Shipwrecked" section.
"I'm only wearing one but I'm really excited to wear it, it's beautiful," she said. "It has a corset [and] its very disheveled, like I've been stranded on an island. I love it. Expect to see a lot of beautiful girls and some girls really working it."
Just like Hart, Hunt said confidence makes a woman sexy -- "that's all you need." For a guy it comes down to him having a good sense of humor, specifically a "witty" one, she said.
