A spectacular solar eclipse stirred reactions from people on Twitter including celebrities.

The annular eclipse was observed in Asia and some parts of the United States Sunday afternoon and early evening. The last time an event like this occured was in 1994.

Demi Moore wrote on her Twitter "Solar eclipse anyone?"

"Tonight's Billboard Music Awards performance is sponsored by the solar eclipse," pop star Katy Perry wrote on her Twitter.
