Taylor Swift Ex-Boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal Responds to His Mention on 'Red' Album? Singer Says 'I Heard From The Guy'
Taylor Swift told New York magazine two of her ex-boyfriends contacted her about the songs mentioning their relationships, and one is rumored to be an A-list actor she dated.
Though one past suitor sent her an angry email about the tracks featured on her album Red, the ex-flame that complimented Swift, 23, on her notoriety for writing about her breakups is rumored to be actor Jake Gyllenhaal, 32. Multiple reports suggest that the Prisoners star, who dated Swift for about three months, has talked to the singer about his mention in her ballads.

The I Knew You Were Trouble singer told the magazine that the person who inspired her latest record is aware of the targeted lyrics. She "heard from the guy that most of Red is about."
"He was like, 'I just listened to the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me. It was like going through a photo album,'" she said, without revealing the ex-boyfriend's name. "That was nice. Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy e-mails I got from this one dude."

"It's a lot more mature way of looking at a love that was wonderful until it was terrible, and both people got hurt from it-but one of those people happened to be a songwriter."
The singer has lightened up about her reputation, joking saying about the flak she receives from make suitors, "Did you not Wikipedia me before you called me up?"
Swift is unapologetic about her songwriting style and said she will continue to open up about her personal life in her music.
"Allowing yourself to feel raw, real emotions in public is something I am never going to be afraid to do," she explained. "I'm fine with being honest with my fans about the fact that it's okay that everything isn't okay all the time. I love my life, I love my career, I love my friends-but things are not okay all the time. So I don't sing about things being okay all the time."
