'Doctor Who' Season 8 Spoilers: Everything You Need to Know About 'The Day of The Doctor,' Watch New Clips, Prequels, and Trailers for 50th Anniversary VIDEO
There is now less than 24 hours before the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special airs worldwide and the BBC is busy dropping some final hints before the highly anticipated episode.
As the 50th Anniversary Special unfolds, three Doctors will travel through time and space to unravel a dangerous series of events ranging from deep space to Elizabethan England to the modern day (watch a trailer here). Featuring the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith), the Unnumbered Doctor (John Hurt), Clara Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman), and Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), the 75-minute event promises to blend the old and the new.
Before you put your feet up and tune into the BBC, however, be sure to check out the episode's brief - but very informative - prequel titled "The Night of the Doctor" (find it here). Paul McGann returns as the Eighth Doctor to explain just how the Unnumbered Doctor came into existence and why he isn't necessarily considered to be a true version of the iconic Time Lord.
Next, take a look at "The Last Day" (watch it here). Another short from executive producer Steven Moffat, the video chronicles the fall of Arcadia during the Time War. Shown from the point of view of a Gallifreyan soldier's headcam, "The Last Day" gives fans a good look at the world John Hurt's Doctor was created to fight in.
After taking in a behind the scenes look at the Elizabethan set and seeing the Tenth Doctor try and interrogate a rabbit (watch video here), get a glimpse at a few interesting snippets from "The Day of the Doctor" itself.
Find out how Eleven meets Ten and what's escaped from the London National Gallery here before taking a gander at the videos below to see Eleven dangling from the bottom of the TARDIS, Clara riding a motorcycle, and Ten inventing more gadgets that go 'ding.'
"The Day of the Doctor" will air on BBC affiliates worldwide on Nov. 23.
