A video of an intoxicated Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson singing karaoke to Boyz II Men's I'll Make Love to You, surfaced on the internet in October and the singer is now making jokes about it.

"It's from 2008!," she told E! News' Giuliana Rancic at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday. "That's really cool of them to put it out like eight years later. We had a few drinks and we sang Boyz II Men, as you should!"

The old video, which appears to have been taken at a Christmas party, features the pair trying to sing a funny rendition of the 1994 R&B hit. The Twilight star and the singer both held on to drinks and were dressed casually.

"This chair is too high to make love," Perry said during their duet. She then sat on the lap of the actor, who put his arm around her.

When the background vocals kicked in and said, "Throw your clothes not he floor," Pattinson also added, "I'm going to take my clothes off too."

Earlier this year, rumors swirled that the two friends were dating each other, but to prove she wasn't intimate with Pattinson, Perry revealed a somewhat embarrassing detail about their friendship.

"OK, so here's the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson: I fart in front of him," she told U.K.'s Elle magazine. "Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating. That's a rule. He's my bud, I'm like his big sister. We just hang out. The other day, I said, 'One of the things I'm most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.' And that's true."

Perry also spoke with E! News about being the most followed celebrity on Twitter. The singer, who overthrew Lady Gaga from the top spot back in July, explained why she believes over 45 million people follow her.

"No one tweets for me. No one speaks for me. And so, I think that people see the authenticity," she said. "It's not always me trying to say 'hey, buy this thing, buy my record, buy my single.'"
