Hollywood has captured the spirit of Thanksgiving and familial gratitude expressed around the dinner table from most every angle.

Enstars rounded up some of the best Thanksgiving dinners on film, from the heart-warming to the downright awkward.

Here's a list of seven scenes that you might or might not relate with but will surely help work up an appetite for some family bonding:

1. Home for the Holidays:

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Holly Hunter, Anne Bancroft and Dylan McDermot.

Holly Hunter is home for the holidays and it is absolutely no fun. In the scene below, Downey Jr.'s carelessness sends the turkey flying her way. Chaos ensues as her zany and insensitive family drives her to tears finding the whole mess she is in hilarious. Downey Jr. asks Hunter to stop being a drama queen as she is drenched in turkey juices and sauce.

2. Blind Side

Starring Sandra Bullock, Tom McGraw and Quinton Aaron

This scene celebrates the true spirit of Thanksgiving and a traditional dinner, as Bullock's family welcomes a new member into the family and Bullock says grace, giving a very heartwarming and precious thanks.

3. Funny People:

Starring: Adam Sandler, Seth Rogan, Jason Schwartzmann and Aubrey Plaza

This is one of them unconventional family dinners, with friends who are also comedians and Sandler leads this pack. It's mostly a laugh riot but Sandler does say some poignant stuff.

4. Scent of a Woman:

Starring Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnell

This is probably one of the most awkward dinner scenes, as the tensions build up and tempers fly. Chris O'Donnell plays the outsider who is welcomed to a Thanksgiving dinner with Pacino's family. Things just get worse as Pacino gives his nephew sexual advice at the dinner table.

5. The House of Yes

Starring Parker Posey and Josh Hamilton

Thanksgiving can also be the best way to better get to know your partner, when you go visiting the family and all the dark and dirty secrets are gradually revealed, especially as in this case, when dealing with a uniquely dysfunctional family and the suggestion of incest.
