Fast and Furious star Paul Walker died in tragic car crash Saturday night leaving behind his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow Rain Walker.

According to reports, Meadow was with her father at his charity event, moments before he was killed. She was near the scene in the Santa Clarita/ Valencia area in California when Paul went up in flames. TMZ first broke the story after they got a tip that the 40-year-old actor was riding in his Porsche GT shortly before it crashed into a a tree and exploded.

Jim Torp, who attended Paul's Reach Out Worldwide charity event described the scene to E! News right before the fatal accident.

"Everybody was winding down," Torp told E! News on Sunday, Dec. 1 during an interview at the crash site. "They were getting ready to park a Porsche and decided to take for joyride, and it ended in tragedy."

"They kept his daughter off to the side, so she wouldn't know what was going on until they really know what had happened," Torp said.

Meadow "was in pieces," Torp revealed.

Paul was very close with Meadow although she was raised in Hawaii with her mother, Rebecca McBrain. Meadow moved to California two years ago to spend more time with her dad. See photos of Meadow here:

"She's bloomed," Walker told People two years ago. "She's got boobs now and it sucks. It was a really sad day for me ... most dads out there can relate."

"She's a bit more like her mother but she's also how I am innately," Walker added. "[Meadow]'s more of a free roamer and she appreciates the little stuff."
