Taylor Swift thinks men are intimidated by her success, she admitting while talking to Hello! UK recently about dating and finding a good guy.

As her successful career in the music industry continues to rise, the 23-year-old has less men approaching her.

"At least I suppose it might (be intimidating). It's not like I would look at a guy and say, 'Hey, are you intimidated by me?' I think that would be highly uncool on my part!" the singer, who was recently dubbed "The Biggest Pop Singer in the World," said. "I tend not to be the one to start conversations with guys, anyway. I'm a little more old-fashioned than that."

"I assume that if someone is interested in me they will come up and talk to me - and if they want to call me up afterwards, then they will," she added.

Swift's latest album, Red, includes heartbreak ballads such as I Knew You Were Trouble and messages to ex-lovers with the help of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. The performer, who last dated One Direction's Harry Styles, added that she finds it easier to write about heartache.

''I do tend to write more songs when I have a broken heart, though, because when you're in love, you're just so fascinated by the fact you're in love that you don't take the time to write down everything that you're feeling.''

Swift has been in a number of high-profile relationships with famous men, including Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and Taylor Lautner. She told New York magazine earlier in the year she has "heard from the guy that most of Red is about."

"He was like, 'I just listened to the album, and that was a really bittersweet experience for me. It was like going through a photo album.' That was nice," she said. "Nicer than, like, the ranting, crazy e-mails I got from this one dude."
