In Monday night's episode of 2 Broke Girls, Caroline (Beth Behrs) goes down memory lane with Max (Kat Dennings) by her side, but things don't go as planned.

When Caroline attends her former nanny's funeral, she's shocked to find out that the family has no clue who she is since she was never mentioned in the past.

That's a very different reaction than she was expecting, since Caroline thought the family would be thrilled to see her.

In the previous episode, Max attempted to make a good impression on her first day of pastry school but was distracted by the class clown, played by Eric Andre. In the meantime, Caroline dressed up to impress Max's teacher, Nicolas, who was played by Giles Marini.

2 Broke Girls' new episode, titled "And The Life After Death," airs Monday, Dec. 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
