Cindy Crawford proves that age is nothing but a number in a new photo shoot for the winter issue of V Magazine.

The 47-year-old posed topless while laying down in a field with a blanket strategically placed over her. In the photo, the supermodel's eyes are closed as she leans against a black dog.

Crawford spoke to the magazine about one of her fondest career moments.

"If I had to label my supermodel moment, I would say it was that Versace show when Naomi [Campbell], Linda [Evangelista], Christy [Turlington] and I all came out together," she said about the 1991 show. "We had just done the George Michael video for Freedom, and George was in the front row, and we came out skipping and holding hands."

Yet, despite being at her prime at that time, Crawford said she's a far better model today than she was then.

"I'm a better model at 47 than I was when I was 22, although I wish I still had the body I had at 22," she said. "Ah, youth is wasted on the young."

The mother of two also spoke about her daughter Kaya, whom she had with her husband, Rande Gerber, in 2001. Crawford recalled the moment her daughter took part in a Versace kids' campaign.

"At the end, she thought, 'This is boring,'" Crawford said of Kaya's reaction. "And I said, 'This is work.' It was a good lesson. If she wants to do it, I'm a good guide. I can help her make good decisions, but now I think she'd rather be an actress."
