Justin Bieber Has Graduation Ceremony on The Ellen DeGeneres Show [VIDEO]
Justin Bieber had a special graduation ceremony on The Ellen DeGeneres show.
Ellen welcomed Bieber to perform his hit "Boyfriend" on Wednesday and she also threw a graduation ceremony for him.
"I know you graduated two weeks ago and you really didn't have a traditional graduation ceremony. So I'm going to give you one right now," Ellen told Bieber.
Ellen brought on stage a podium and three chairs for Bieber's mother, manager and bodyguard to sit. She put a cap and gown on herself and gave one to Bieber.
Before starting the ceremony Ellen told Bieber she knows how important his hair is so she gave him a special cap that hovered above his head.
"We're here to honor the accomplishments of the Biebs, a great American who happens to be from Canada," DeGeneres joked.
"Justin, you finally made it, you're graduating and I'm so proud of you, because I always said, 'There ain't nothing more better than an education,' " she added.
"You've accomplished so much in a short time, you're only 18 and an international superstar. When I was 18, my biggest accomplishment was drinking a whole bottle of boysenberry syrup from the International House of Pancakes," Ellen said.
Ellen also offered him some advice.
"So now that you're graduating, you're going to have to survive on your own. You're going to need a strong character, a good business sense, and you're going to need suspenders -- honestly, your pants need to be pulled up at some point."
Bieber completed his high school degree on early May, according to The Telegraph.
He finished it on the road with the help of tutors and said he did it because his mom wanted him to earn his high school diploma.
