'The X Factor' USA 2013 Season 3 Week 6 Top 6 Live Show Recap: Demi Lovato & Kelly Rowland Cries [PHOTO, VIDEO]
Wednesday night's live episode of The X Factor proved to be an emotional one, as nearly everyone was brought to tears at least once during the Dec. 4 segment.
Tears were first shed by Colton Pack after his group Restless Road, one of Simon Cowell's remaining two contestants, performed Avicci's Wake Me Up. His display of emotion also caused judge Demi Lovato to cry.
"Stop crying, you are making me cry right now," the former Disney star said to him, to which he replied, "I'm trying."
Judge Paulino Rubio told them that they "need to cry," because "this real and it's happening."
Lovato's act Rion Paige's impressive performance led several people to cry during the episode, including the judge herself, Paige's mother, Kelly Rowland.
"So beautiful," the Destiny's Child band member said as she wept. Lovato added, "Sweet girl."
The Top 6 remaining acts performed 2 songs each following the elimination of Lillie McCloud and Josh Levi on Nov.28. The contestants performed a "diva" number as well as an "unplugged" song. The contestants' diva and unplugged choices were:
