Grammys 2014 Nominees: Taylor Swift, Macklemore, Daft Punk, Katy Perry & More Nominated for Top Categories [PHOTOS]
The Grammy Awards have officially made their nominations for the 2014 ceremony.
Several of today's biggest artists received nominations in the top 4 categories: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.
In the Album of the Year category, the nominees are as follows: Sara Bareilles for The Blessed Unrest, Daft Punk for Random Access Memories, Kendrick Lamar for Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for The Heist and Taylor Swift for Red
For the Record of the Year category, which awards the best produced song of the year, nominees include Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams, Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, Royals by Lorde, Locked Out of Heaven by Bruno Mars and Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke featuring Pharrell & T.I.
Song of the Year awards the best written song of the year, and features some overlap from Record of the Year. Royals and Locked Out of Heaven are nominated for Song of the Year along with Just Give Me a Reason by P!nk featuring Nate Ruess, Roar by Katy Perry and Same Love by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Mary Lambert.
The award for Best New Artist features some up and coming talent as well as some of the biggest new artists of the year. Nominees are James Blake, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves and Ed Sheeran.
