"Pirates of the Caribbean" beauty Keira Knightley is engaged to marry her boyfriend James Righton from British indie rock band "Klaxons."
The news were confirmed by the actress' publicist to the Associated Press and People Magazine.
"The couple were not releasing any details of the proposal, and did not have any comment on wedding plans," Publicist Sara Keene told AP.
Knightley, 27, has been dating Righton, 28 for about a year.
Righton is a keyboard player for the rock group Klaxons. The couple reportedly met through their mutual friend fashion correspondant Alexa Chung.
They were first spotted together in public in April 2011.
Knightley previously dated "Pride & Prejudice" costar Rupert Friend for five years before their split in late 2010.
