Model Lindsay Ellingson is engaged to longtime boyfriend, medical equipment sales rep Sean Clayton.

"Yes, it's true," the Victoria's Secret Angel, 29, told PEOPLE. "My love proposed last month and I couldn't be happier!"

The couple dated for six years before Clayton popped the question. Clayton reportedly proposed to the California native over Thanksgiving while the couple were visiting his parents in Ohio. The blonde beauty posted a gorgeous picture of a snowy backyard on Instagram on Nov. 28.

"Hope everyone is enjoying the day with family and friends," she captioned the picture. "Happy Thanksgiving! So thankful for all of my loved ones. #Snowturkeyday."

Ellingson was spotted wearing a large diamond engagement ring on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at a screening of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City. On the runway Ellingson wore a special set of Swarovski wings made on a 3-D printer, the first time 3-D printing was ever used in the show.

In an interview with Fashionista.com before the highly anticipated show, Ellingson said she was "starting my prep now [in September]" and wanted to gain some weight before she hits the runway.

"I like to add curves. I think it's sexier and more feminine to be more full," she said. "So, I add like almond butter, peanut butter, protein shakes to my diet, just to feel a little sexier and curvier."

Ellington previously walked the runway for Chanel and Christian Dior, among other designers.
