One of Ben Affleck's former co-workers will be reuniting with him on the highly anticipated Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman.

Chris Terrio, the Oscar-winning writer of Argo, has signed on to write a draft of the Man of Steel 2 screenplay, according to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter. Terrio has a "strong relationship" with both Warner Bros. and Affleck, who starred in, and directed Argo.

David S. Goyer has written the screenplay for Man of Steel 2, but Warner Bros. is bringing Terrio in to help polish it to its best potential. Goyer has also Man of Steel and The Dark Knight trilogy among other big-budget action movies.

As production draws closer, many details regarding Man of Steel 2 have been leaking out. In addition to Affleck's casting as Batman, Fast & Furious actress Gal Gadot has been cast to play Wonder Woman. Meanwhile, Henry Cavill is returning as Superman, as is Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

There has been a lot of speculation throughout the winter months about who will play the main villain, and whether or not said villain will be Lex Luthor, infamous for his battles with Superman. Most recently, actors like Denzel Washington and Joaquin Phoenix have been added to the mix of potential actors who will play Lex Luthor. Warner Bros. has not made an official announcement, but there will probably be one coming soon.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on July 17, 2015.
