The new U.K. trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 reveals much more about the upcoming film that was not included in the American clips.

While the U.S. trailer released earlier this month focused more on Peter Parker's acknowledgement that he will keep making enemies, as well as his relationships with Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn, the U.K. trailer takes a very different approach to the film.

The U.S. version featured more focus on Peter acknowledging his powerful enemies and him reconnecting with old friend Harry, who informed him that he has been under surveillance by Oscorp Industries. The hero also appears to uncover a secret about his father, Richard Parker, and how Oscorp may have used his research against him.

The U.K. trailer instead focused on Peter's relationship with his only surviving guardian, Aunt May, and his fight scenes with enemies Electro (Jamie Foxx), The Rhino (Paul Giammatti) and Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan). There is also a new scene in the U.K. trailer that shows Gwen potentially destroying Peter's secret identity.

"I've got to go," he says to Gwen while dressed as Spiderman. When she insists on going with him, he shoots his web, keeping her stuck by a car after telling her it was too dangerous.

"Sorry, I love you, don't hate me," he said to her as he walked away.

"PETER!!" she shouted, before slapping her hand across her mouth, realizing what she had done.

Sony recently revealed that they plan to expand the Spider-Man franchise with new spinoff movies featuring Venom and The Sinister Six, according to IGN.
