The third season of MTV's hit show Awkward is officially over, but Beau Mirchoff has already revealed what's in store for his character during senior year in season 4.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Mirchoff confessed that while Matty might enjoy his last year of high school, it doesn't look like college is in his future.

"If anything, [Matty] would be able to get a sports scholarship, then major in basket weaving. Something like that," he revealed. "Actually, Brett (who plays Matty's friend Jake) and I thought it would be funny if the show just focused on Matty who doesn't go to college. He's got some dead-end job. Or 'Matty and Jake Do Hong-Kong."

Matty's senior year will definitely not be slacking when it comes to the love department. His new romance with Bailey (who is also Jenna's new friend) could be sticking around for awhile.

"I feel great about it. I think [Bailey's] a smart, attractive, funny young lady," the actor said. "She's similar to Jenna in a lot of ways if you go back to season one, which is interesting to look at."

Talking about Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and Matty's relationship status in season 4, Mirchoff said, "I will say [Matty and Jenna] don't see each other over the summer."

"They go their separate ways and do their own thing. They run into each other on the first day of senior year, and everything sparks from there."

The cast has already started reading scripts for the new season. A premiere date has yet to be revealed.
