Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicolas Sarkozy's Brother Olivier Are "Head Over Heels" for Each Other
Mary-Kate Olsen is reportedly dating Nicolas Sarkozy's brother Olivier. Sources close to the pair say that Olsen, 25, has been with Olivier for about a month and are apparently "head over heels" for each other.
Sarkozy's younger brother is aged 42 - and although there is a 17-year age gap between the two, they pair seem to be enjoying each other's company. They were reportedly spotted in a resort in the Hamptons during the Memorial Day weekend, according to the New York Post.
Olivier is a managing director for a private equity firm The Carlyle Group, based in Washington, D.C. The half-brother of the former French president was previously married to wife Charlotte and have two children together.
The last known boyfriend of Mary-Kate was Nate Lowman, with whom she split in 2010. She is also linked to late actor Heath Ledger and Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos. She had once mentioned that the break-up with Niarchos led to her dropping out of NYU.
Mary-Kate and her twin sister Ashley shot to fame as child stars. Later they developed a clothing empire and fashion brand, The Row, becoming more recognized for their fashion than their previous child-acting days.
The twins are up for a Womenswear Designer of the Year at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
