Images for the episode, which is titled The Sign of Three, seem to suggest that Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) may have severe difficulties making the transition from a fake death and back into the real world.

In one of the pictures, a decked out Watson (Martin Freeman) appears to be getting ready to tie the knot with new love Mary Morstan (Amanda Abbington) at a church, but the also dressed up Sherlock appears to be a bit out of it.

In another photo, both Watson and Sherlock are side by side in the midst of a confrontation with a solider in order to uncover a truth.

A third image shows the two seemingly distant from one another while they sit on a wooden bench. The respective rift appears to be due to Watson's new relationship and Sherlock's longtime disappearance.
