Teen Wolf's season 3B premiere is just around the corner, and viewers can expect to see their heroes in distress right from the jump.

Opening mere weeks after the events of "Lunar Ellipse," "Anchors" will start to explore the fall out from last summer's triple suicide ritual and the revitalization of the Nemeton.

Following their long, deadly ice baths, Scott (Tyler Posey), Allison (Crystal Reed) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) must come to terms with the new darkness inside them, a force that seems to literally be driving them insane.

"They are going to face a lot of different issues in the very first episode" actually. You'll see that they are experiencing certain side effects from [the ritual], so it's not an easy transition," said series creator Jeff Davis, according to Happy Cool. "You'll see the characters really dealing with an aftermath and I think it will be interesting. I think it will be a good psychological thriller."

While the adolescents of Beacon Hills deal with new physical threats and psychological issues, the adults will have some adjusting to do as well. Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) is now aware of the supernatural elements in his town - which may be what leads him to review old case files during the premiere - but Scott's FBI father (Matthew Del Negro) and a new deputy are not in on the loop, according to E!, and this could make things difficult for the Stiles' father.
