'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: The Governor Not Dead As Initially Assumed? [SNEAK PEEK]
The results at the end of the midseason finale of AMC's The Walking Dead were indeed bittersweet, as fans witnessed the tragic death of Hershel (Scott Wilson) and what appeared to be the slaying of the villaineous Governor (David Morrissey).

Although many of the TV series' loyalists surely didn't think twice on whether the dictator was dead, Morrissey's interview with the Press Association on Jan. 5 now has many second-guessing themselves as to whether he survived Michonne's (Danai Gurira) sword and Maggie's (Lauren Cohan) gunshot.
"Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can't confirm and I can't deny anything. Certainly bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see," he said.
If the Governor did bite the dust, the character could still be brought back in flashback sequences, as creator Robert Kirkman had indicated that to TV Guide on Dec. 3.
