'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: Recently Disbanded Group Members To Get A 'Sense Of How Unprotected People Are In The Wilderness'? [SNEAK PEEK]
Fans continue to scour the Internet for the latest snippets of information on AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, as co-executive producer Greg Nicotero recently dished on what they can expect when the program returns for the second half of season 4.
On Dec. 31, Nicotero had spoken to Channel Guide Blog about the similarities between the current installment and seasons past.
"I feel like Episode 9 and onward really harkens back to the first season of The Walking Dead, because if you think about season 2, they were on Hershel's farm. In season 3 and half of season 4, they had the prison and Woodbury," he said.
Nicotero, who's also the special effects makeup designer, explained the significance of the upcoming episodes, stressing that the characters' stakes will be high, being that the group will be going back into the zombie-ridden world without the security of a compound such as the prison.
"So this is the first time that they're out in the world again. So it's the first time that we really get that sense of how big the world is and how unprotected people are in the wilderness," he added.
