Jameis Winston led the Florida State Seminoles to a BCS National Championship Monday night against Auburn, but it's his post-game speech that has had many talking.

The 22-year-old Heisman award winner was slandered on Twitter after he joined ESPN's Tom Rinaldo for a brief interview. Winston's answers to Rinaldo's questions appeared to be jumbled and bumbled, as he seemed overwhelmed and excited after a huge win. Many people on Twitter bashed Winston, saying he didn't use proper grammar.

Dee Dee McCarron, the mother of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron tweeted a message directly at Winston's interview, downplaying his speech.

"Am I listening to English," Bonner wrote. She quickly deleted the tweet, but not before Twitter users grabbed a screenshot.

Bonner has since sent her apologies for the tweet, saying she's not a racist and had no intentions of offending anyone.

"Any1 that knows our family knows we r far from racist. My tweet was not in anyway meant that way. I sincerely apologize if it offended any1," she wrote.

Despite the criticism, Winston is looking forward and took to Twitter to slam his haters.

"For the people that criticize the way that I talk this is for y'all. The Florida state Seminoles are national champions! That is all."

Winston even got a shout out from 2013 NBA champ LeBron James on the win.

"UN-Freaking-believable interview by Jameis!! Just shows part of the reason why he's SPECIAL!" James wrote.
