After being missing in action for most of the season, Hawaii Five-O's Kono will finally be coming home when the CBS drama returns form its midseason hiatus.

At the end of season 3, Chin Ho Kelly's (Daniel Dae Kim) younger cousin chose to depart the island with Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale) when he went into hiding form the Yakuza. As Kono (Grace Park) and Adam's story unfolded in the background of several season 4 episodes, the couple was ultimately separated before learning the coast was clear for their return home.

As of the Thanksgiving episode, "Hau'oli La Ho'omoaika'i," Kono was planning on heading to Canada to search for her boyfriend. A new clip for this Friday's "O kēlā me kēia Manawa," however, reveals that Kono will not only be successful in her search, but the pair will be headed back to Hawaii.

"Grace is back in the picture full time starting in the New Year, Kono is back full-time," said executive producer Peter Lenkov, according to TV Fanatic. "She's back from searching for Adam. So it's the family back together."

Now that Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) has joined Five-O fulltime, however, will five investigators be one too many? Or will the extra manpower be helpful as the team prepares for another faceoff with Ian Wright (Nick Jonas) during the season finale?

Hawaii Five-O airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. Click the video below for a preview of "O kēlā me kēia Manawa (Now and Then)."
