MTV debuted season 3B of Teen Wolf on Monday night, and it's clear a lot has changed for the teens of Beacon Hills as their story heads down a much darker path.

Following the events of last summer's "Alpha Pact" and "Lunar Ellipse," the core trio of Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), Allison (Crystal Reed) are suffering extreme hallucinations that make them a danger to themselves and those around them. According to Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam), the faux suicide ritual the youngsters used to bring power back to the Nemeton also left a door ajar in their minds and, until they close it, their lives are that much more chaotic and confusing.

Unfortunately for Stiles, he appears to be suffering the most as he struggles to understand if he is living in a dream or the waking world.

"It's always been an ensemble cast, but Stiles is definitely the center of attention this round, which is nice. I felt like a normal person this season," Posey explained to Entertainment Weekly. "Stiles' storyline this season is absolutely one of the coolest things ever. I'm a little jealous that I didn't get to play it."

Viewers shouldn't worry about seeing too little Scott, however. The True Alpha has his own set of drama to work through in regards to Isaac's (Daniel Sharman) feelings for Allison, needing to build his own pack, and the return of his father (Matthew Del Negro).

"That's a huge part of the emotions for him," Posey said of the elder McCall, according to Entertainment Weekly. "But it was also a really fun part to play because we're trying to attack it a little differently than just a normal stereotypical teenager who's pissed off at his dad. There are a lot more elements that come into play."

While "Anchors" revealed that one of these elements involves Mr. McCall's involvement in the impending impeachment of Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), viewers will have to stay tuned to find out the rest.

Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. Click the video below to see a preview of next week's "More Bad Than Good."
