'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 6: Porsha Williams Talks 'Brain Lapse' In Underground Railroad Moment On The History Making Reality Series [VIDEO]
It's no secret The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been a hit, but now the show is making history for Bravo in its sixth season.
The Sunday, Jan. 5 episode brought in 4.52 million viewers, making it Bravo's highest-rated night ever for vital demographics. It snagged the No. 1 slot for 18-49, 25-54 and 18-34 in each of the key female demographics as well as total viewers.

One of the most talked about moments in season 6 thus far happened on the Dec. 22 episode when Porsha Williams made a flub concerning the Underground Railroad, which she thought included actual trains. That same night Williams, whose grandfather was a civil rights icon, appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live and explained to host Andy Cohen what was going through her mind during that embarrassing moment.

"When I watched that I realized that was another Porsha moment. You know, a little airy there. Just a brain lapse," she said. "I felt like I definitely needed to correct that, even for myself. I went back and just brushed up on what I already know. That's a very sensitive topic for me. I do want to represent my life and that part of my legacy better than I did."
Williams also dished on what looks like a brewing feud with co-star NeNe Leakes. A preview for the Jan. 12 episode shows Leakes bringing Williams to tear when she tells the latter she is a bad friend. When asked about her friendship with Leakes, Williams defended her.
"Yes, NeNe is a good friend to me. Any real relationship is gonna have its ups and downs," she told Cohen. "At times, I may be really sensitive and sometimes she's sensitive and it shows. That's what you see on the show."
The next episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday at 8/7c p.m on Bravo.
