'The Originals' Spoilers: Hayley Puts Elijah's 'Vampire Strength' To Use Amid Escalating Drama On TV Series? [VIDEO]
The Originals will only show more drama for its the characters in its midseason premiere, according to a new sneak peek for the Jan. 14 episode.
The preview clip for The Casket Girls shows Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) wearing a white dress in front of a mirror, placing her hand across her pregnant stomach. The French Quarter is about to begin its annual celebration of the Casket Girls Festival and Hayley is having difficulty finding something to wear while she's pregnant.
That's when Elijah (Daniel Gillies) walks in and offers his help.
Background voices are echoeing as Hayley says she might be needing all of his "vampire strength" to zip up her dress, something Elijah does effortlessly.
The two stare at each other in the mirror when Hayley says "Thanks. Not to many pregnant casket girls, I guess." Elijah continues to stare and says "You look lovely."

A potential romance between Elijah and Hayley could prove damaging for their characters, as Hayley is pregnant with Klaus' child.
The Originals is based on the Mikaelson family in The Vampire Diaries starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. Gillies, as well as co-stars Joseph Morgan (Klaus) and Claire Holt (Rebekah), all apeared on Vampire Diaries.
The Originals will be back on the CW Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
