'Hawaii Five-0' Spoilers: Travel Back In Time For 'The Favor' [PHOTOS]; Malia & John McGarrett Return, See Teenaged Kono [VIDEO]
Hawaii Five-O will be disturbing some old ghosts when Internal Affairs opens an investigation into the death of Chin's father.
The CBS drama will travel back 15 years during "Hana lokomaika'I (The Favor)" to reevaluate events that happened around the time of Chin Ho Kelly's (Daniel Dae Kim) father's death. The nature of Chin original relationship with Malia Waincroft (Reiko Aylesworth) will be put under the microscope to determine if it complicated the original investigation.
Popping up in the episode will be the long deceased Malia and Chin's former mentor, John McGarrett (William Sadler).
"Jazzed to see my friends on #H50 again," Sadler tweeted on Dec. 13, teasing his followers about his upcoming return.
In addition to these returning characters, viewers will get to see a teenage Kono (Grace Park) who will presumably be at the height of her surfing career. The young talent was scooped up by Coral Prince Surfing at age 15 and had a successful string of competitions before injuring her knee. Hopefully the old Kono will have some time to show off her skills in the upcoming episode.
