Modern Family is heading back to high school with a star-studded episode on Wednesday.

When the parents get into a few mishaps at the high school open house, Jesse Eisenberg of The Social Network, Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock and John Benjamin Hickey of The Big C will be busy muddling up the lives of the Dunphys and Pritchetts in "Under Pressure."

As Phil (Ty Burrell) tries to go along with Jay's (Ed O'Neill) plan to play hookie, his wife will snap under the pressure of the day while Karakowski's character torment's Gloria in the same vein as a certain clique that wears pink on Wednesdays.

Outside of the schoolyard, the Dunphy's overachieving middle child will be sorting out some of her issues with her new therapist, Dr. Clark (Hickey). In the meantime, Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) will find it hard to cope with his extremely environmentally conscious neighbor, Asher (Eisenberg).

As with any substance straining under pressure, the Dunphys and Pritchetts will undoubtedly explode in comedic fashion by the end of their half-hour slot.

Luckily for the amusingly dysfunctional families, an Australian vacation is on the horizon. The Modern Family cast will head Down Under this February to shoot an episode that will air this spring.

"We loved the family vacation episodes we shot in Hawaii and Wyoming - this one is certainly our most ambitious yet. We promise to feature a kangaroo, a koala and a boomerang," said executive producer Steve Levitan, according to E!."I'm sure there will be lots more, but so far that's all we know about Australia - our American school system is a disaster."

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Click the video below to see a preview of "Under Pressure."
