The wait is nearly over for fans of The CW's Arrow, as the TV series is set to return on Wednesday night for the second installment of season 2.
Barry Allen Behind 'Devastating Lovers' Quarrel' Set To Transpire Between Oliver & Felicity?
Loyalists of the program are surely curious as to what lies ahead for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). While it was previously reported that he'll be facing off against multiple villains moving forward, executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Zap2it on Jan. 15 that his biggest threat will be himself.
"For Oliver, the biggest threat is always in his own mind. The biggest challenge that Oliver deals with as a hero is how is he going to respond to all these different challenges? What is he going to do to achieve his goals of becoming a hero? And at the same time, what is he not willing to do? Can he stay on the no-killing bandwagon, as we say in the writers' room?
With the pressure mounting on Oliver to become a hero as Arrow, the character clearly has some very tough decisions to make when the TV series returns.
"Can he manage to be the Arrow and not push everyone away as Oliver Queen? As the pressure begins to boil over for the Arrow, it tends to have an impact on Oliver as Oliver," he added.
