Carly (Laura Wright) isn't dead yet, but Heather (Robin Mattson) still plans on killing her on General Hospital.

General Hospital: Monday, Jan. 13, 2014

In a preview for the Friday, Jan. 17 episode, she appears to still have a few things keeping her from murdering her son's girlfriend-mainly, the fact that her son, Franco (Roger Howarth) has not been arrested for Carly's disappearance and presumed murder yet.

"What is the holdup?" she shouted at Carly in the clip.

The potential holdup that has kept Franco out of jail so far is that the police don't have the one thing that could totally seal his fate-a dead body that can be traced back to him.

"Is there anything else" Anna (Finola Hughes) asked Scott (Kin Shriner).

"How about a body? Scott asked her in return.

Meanwhile, Carly's son, Michael (Chad Duell) will receive a phone call that may provide information about where his mother is.

"Who is this? What do you know about my mother?" he asked the mysterious caller.

Though he is currently the prime suspect in Carly's disappearance, Franco has not yet abandoned his search for his missing girlfriend, and appears to be seeking help from anyone who will provide it.

"Carly could be in real trouble here," he said to Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Silas (Michael Easton).

As far as the mob war is concerned, a slight cooling of the action hasn't stopped Sonny (Maurice Bernard) from making sure the Jeromes don't forget they have a powerful enemy.

"I hope you don't mind me dropping by," he said to Ava (Maura West) and Julian (Michael DeVry) in the clip.
