Karrueche Tran Supports Boyfriend Chris Brown During LA Court Appearance; Will Remain in Rehab [PHOTOS]
Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran are still going strong! The couple arrived holding hands at his Monday court appearance in Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old singer, who is still on probation for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 was accompanied by Tran, who is now rocking a red hair color. Brown looked dapper in a blue shirt, brown blazer and dark pants while Tran wore a plaid blouse, white jeans and high heels.
TMZ reported that prosecutors asked the judge to sentence Brown to jail, saying,
"Brown's violent behaviour continues to increase in severity and frequency" and he is "an increasing danger to society," with his violent behaviour continuing to increase in severity and frequency."
As far as Valentines Day, the singer may have to put his plans with Tran on hold for now, as he will remain in rehab by a judge's orders. He has been completing a 90-day court-mandated stay following an alleged assault in Washington D.C. during Howard University's homecoming weekend last October.
A D.A. said that after questioning witnesses from the incident, there is enough evident to find Brown guilty of assault.
A judge ruled that Brown should remain with his treatment, as he is making good progress. Brown is due back in court on Feb. 20 for another hearing.
Brown is reportedly ready to turn his life around for the new year.
"He's looking forward to starting new, putting all the drama and bulls**t behind him," the source said, according to HollywoodLife.com. "He never ever thought he'd be ending up in rehab, especially not over the holidays and New Years. He wants to finish it though, and take away some of the positives from this experience and get his anger in check."
