After an official cast reveal from CBS showed Mark Jackson and Bopper Minton returning for Amazing Race All-Stars, questions remained about why Mark was spotted racing with a different teammate while the show filmed.

Amazing Race Season 24 Winners Already Revealed?

It was previously reported that Mallory Ervin, who appeared in seasons 17 and 18 of the show, would race with Jackson instead of his Season 20 partner, Minton. However, when CBS officially announced the cast on Jan. 27, Minton and Jackson were featured, while Ervin was not.

At the time though, the promotional video hinted that one team wouldn't even make it to the starting line, which provides the chance that previous reports were still correct.

It appears that Ervin did indeed race because photos on her Instagram account have surfaced since filming would have wrapped in November. One particular photo shows her with other Season 24 racers, including Herbert 'Flight Time' Lang, and Jen Wayne and Caroline Cutbirth. Though Ervin did already know Lang from when they both raced in Season 18, Wayne and Cutbirth didn't appear on the show for the first time until Season 22.

Ervin also appears to have had some rapport with Minton in the past, as the two had tweeted one another back in 2012.

"@malloryervin follow this girl she is the real deal! A good person! And from Kentucky! RT...and follow her for me; )" Minton tweeted on Nov. 17, 2012.

Ervin responded by writing "@BopperMinton this one is not so bad himself...can't wait for our next adventure! #AmazingRace # Kentucky reallyislucky #lovemarkandbopper."

If something did happen to Minton which prevented him from running the newest installment of the race as initially planned, Ervin could have potentially been a good fit to race with Jackson due to friendship outside of the race.
