'The Blacklist' NBC: Agent Ressler Tracks An Escaped Criminal, Teams Up With An Old Friend While Dianne Wiest Guest Stars [VIDEO]
An escaped criminal, a former partner, and Amnesty International will collide in the Blacklist's "The Judge."
Agent Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) will take center stage when one of his past collars, Mako Tanida, slips out of prison while serving seven life sentences, according to TV Line. A member of the Yakuza, Tanida was a product of the Reddington (James Spader) task force, which means he's a slippery, dangerous character.
The FBI agent won't be alone in his efforts to track down the escapee, TV Line reports. Ressler will reunite with a former partner, Bobby Jonica, at a wake and the pair will team up to recapture Tanida. Unfortunately, Jonica will have a secret. Whether his old coworker's revelation will strike a personal or professional chord with Ressler remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Dianne Wiest will be popping by the NBC drama to guest star as the president of Amnesty International, according to E!. Megan Boone, the actress behind The Blacklist's Liz Keen, seems pretty excited to work with the Law and Order: SVU alumna.
"Dianne Wiest is going to be on our show!" Boone tweeted when she received the news on Thursday.
The Blacklist airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. Click the video below to a preview of the series most recent episode, "The Cyprus Agency."
