Lindsay Lohan Car Accident: Actress in Emergency Room at LA Hospital After Crash
Actress Lindsay Lohan is hospitalized after suffering a serious car crash in Los Angeles. She is currently being treated at an emergency room in a hospital, reports TMZ. See the pictures here.
According to AP, Santa Monica Police Sgt. Candice Cobarrubias said the car crashed at around 11:45 a.m. on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Lohan's reportedly crashed her Porsche into the back of an 18 wheeler, totally destroying the car. There is no word about a serious injury but an ambulance was called to the scene. Lindsay and her passenger were both conscious. TMZ reported that Lindsay said the accident was not her fault and that the huge 18-wheeler cut her off.
Lohan's car crash comes days after she suffered a serious malfunction on the set of "Liz & Dick", where she stars as legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor. The movie documents the relationship between the late Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. She filmed the movie alongside Grand Bowler, who plays Burton. But her left breast couldn't be contained and had been caught hanging out from the dress on camera. Lohan was filming a scene in a yacht. Filming for the movie only just started this month.
The biopic is scheduled to premiere in Lifetime in November. Lohan had recently revealed that she was honored to be able to play the role of the late Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor.
