Port Charles may need to prepare to say goodbye to one of its favorite residents on General Hospital.

Heather Tries To Enlist Help To Murder Carly?

Heather's (Robin Mattson) plot to kill Carly (Laura Wright) appears to have been successful, but not in the way she planned.

In a preview clip for the Friday, Feb. 7 episode, it appears something went wrong and caused an explosion at the boathouse. When Heather awakens she finds Carly in the rubble, unconscious and with a nasty cut on her forehead, prompting her to fear the worst.

Heather's Plans For Carly Start To Unravel?

"Oh my god, Carly's dead!" she said in the clip.

Though she did want Carly to die, Heather needed her plan to work out where Carly would be stabbed to death. She had already framed her son, Franco (Roger Howarth) for the murder by planting a bloody knife in his car. However, if Carly's body is ever found in this condition, it would make things clear that she wasn't stabbed at all, and could exonerate Franco for the alleged crime.

Meanwhile, two other Port Charles residents could be facing a judge for their own crimes soon. Julian (Michael Devry) and Ava (Maura West) could soon have the fullest extent of their crimes exposed. Ava specifically could see herself forced to stand trial for two separate murders.

Her ex-lover, Dr. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) is about to go down for murdering his wife, something Ava actually did. If Silas' new girlfriend Sam (Kelly Monaco) is able to prove Silas is innocent, it could destroy Ava.

Not helping matters for her, A.J. (Sean Kanan) is starting to piece together what happened the night Connie Falconeri was murdered. He was previously charged with the crime, but later found not guilty. Now, he appears to be remembering how her death came to be.

"I'm starting to remember the night that Connie was murdered," he said to Michael (Chad Duell).

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ITV.
