Lady Gaga Concussion: Video of Singer Hit By Backup Dancer Surfaces
Lady Gaga suffered a concussion after one of her backup dancers strongly hit her on the head with a pole in the middle of a performance.
Gaga was performing her hit song "Judas" in Auckland, New Zealand Sunday. She was standing next to a pole, when one of her backup dancers removed it and accidentally hit Gaga in the head.
The pop star rubbed her head after the heavy impact and headed backstage. Few minutes later she returned to stage and apologized to her fans.
"I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show," she said, according to MTV.
Her makeup artist Tara Savelo also tweeted about the incident.
"Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay...cant believe she finished the show," she wrote.
The moment was captured in a video posted on YouTube. Gaga will continue performing in Australia as part of her "The Born This Way Ball" tour until July 8. (WATCH BELOW)
She is heading to Brisbane on Wednesday.
Lady Gaga is the second big pop star to suffer a concussion in the past few weeks.
Justin Bieber fell into a glass wall during an intimate concer in Paris on May 31.
The pop star suffered a concussion but was able to continue his performance.
