Ragnar Battles Jarl Borg In 'Brother's War,' New 'Vikings' Trailer Decoded
Last summer, Vikings teased Comic-Con attendees with a musical montage of Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and Rollo's (Clive Standen) season 2 battle, but now the History channel series has supplanted the epic score with blood and desperation.
Unfortunately for Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard), he appears to be losing more blood than he is spilling.
What Are Ragnar, Lagertha, Bjorn & Others Up To In 'Vikings' Season 2?
While viewers know a major time jump is imminent based on the much older recasting of Bjorn (now played by Alexander Ludwig), series creator Michael Hirst previously hinted that the chronology may not be subject to a drastic change right off the bat. George Blagden (Athelstan) shed some light on this issue while also explaining who is involved in the season premiere battle.
"There's a time jump at the start of season two, but we start season two exactly where we left off at the end of season one, probably about seven months have passed," Blagden told Spoiler TV. "What you'll see is this battle between Jarl Borg and Rollo and Ragnar and Horick, so it sort of throws you right back into where you left, where you left all the characters off."
Watch the videos below to see how the battle plays out and catch "Brother's War" Feb. 27 on History Channel.
