‘Amazing Race’ Season 24 Spoilers: The Cowboys Say “They’re Good Enough' To Win But “It’s Anyone’s Race?” [VIDEO]
The Amazing Race will return with its 24th season in just a few days, and one team already conceded that anyone has the potential to win this time around.
The Afghanimals "Aren't Worried" About Other Teams?
Jet and Cord McCoy, cowboy brothers who previously raced on seasons 16 (where they placed second) and season 18 (where they placed sixth), are among the teams returning for the newest All-Star season. In a pre-race interview with CBS, the brothers admitted that anyone could walk away with the final $1 million prize at the end of it.
"We did the whole amazing race 16, and when you think you have a little bit of an advantage because you came back on 18....but then as soon as that happens you realize it's anybody's game," Cord said. "I think if you did The Amazing Race 10 times it would still be new things, new challenges...it's like life, there's different challenges that you don't see coming."
The Twinnies Think They Have A "Big Advantage" Over Other Teams?
The brothers went on to say how they wouldn't employ sneaky tactics as they ran the race, because those methods aren't ones they think they need.
"There are many people who ask us whether we would lie, or whether we would cheat, or whether we would give somebody else bad directions, and I don't think that we have to do that to win the race," Jet said. "I think that we can beat any other team on any given challenge, barring being lost or whatever else happens, which is an infinite number of things that can happen on this race, but I think that we're good enough that we can win the race without having to slow somebody else down."
Though they won't use sneaky and deceitful methods while they race, the brothers did reveal that they do want to be the first ones to cross the finish line this time around.
"One of the advantages Jet and I have had is we've kind of got a taste of blood from the race before and it's been 3 years since we went last time and we got a little taste of success," Cord said. "We're ready to come back for more."
