Matthew McConaughey Wedding Photo with Camila Alves: 'Our Adventure Together' [PHOTO]
The wedding photo of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves was published today by People Magazine.
The couple appear very happy in the picture. McConaughey wears a black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo and Alves a white gown made by a Brazilian designer.
"We decided to embrace the ritual of marriage as an opportunity and adventure we'll take together," McConaughey, 42 told People.
The wedding was celebrated in the couple's home in Austin, Texas on Saturday. Their sons Levi, 3 and Vida, 2, served as ring bearer and flower girl respectively, People reports.
It incorporated the couple's roots with an "island beach meets Texas" theme that included Brazilian food, Entertainment Tonight reported on Sunday.
The couple invited 120 guests including Reese Witherspoon and Kenny Chesney, according to the People.
McConaughey, 42 and Alves, 30, met in 2006 at a bar in Los Angeles and have been dating ever since.
McConaughey announced the couple's engagement on December 25, 2011, via his WhoSay web page, where he posted a picture of the couple kissing with the message, "just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas."
