'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 6: Eliminated Cast Member Explains Why She Was Likely The First To Get Cut [VIDEO]
The first eliminated contestant from RuPaul's Drag Race just revealed why she thinks she was the first one to leave the competition.
RuPaul Dishes On This Season's Contestants
On Monday's episode of RuPaul, the two contestants who had to battle each other to stay in the competition were Vivacious and Kelly Mantle. After they both lip-synced to Madonna's Express Yourself, RuPaul made the decision and eliminated Mantle.
Now that Mantle is out of the competition, she revealed in a phone interview with Instinct Magazine that she's doing just fine.
"I'm fantastic," Mantle said when asked how she was doing. "Just lounging by the pool at the Ritz Carlton. It's a beautiful sunny day."
Mantle was then asked why she thinks she was the first one to be eliminated; in her perspective, it's because she can't sew.
"Darling, I shop at Neiman Marcus and I have sweatshops in Van Nuys making outfits for me," Mantle said. "I don't know the first thing about constructing an outfit. I'm used to having my people do my hair and makeup for me so I'm not skilled at that either. So, I think that's it, when it really comes down to it."
Mantle managed to keep her witty dialogue up despite being the first contestant to leave the drag race.
"When life eliminates you, you make eliminade."
Last Monday's episode included Mantle, Vivacious, Adore Delano, April Carrion, Ben De La Creme, Gia Gunn and Laganja Estranja.
RuPaul's Drag Race airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. E.T. On Logo TV.
