‘General Hospital’ Soap Opera Spoilers: Julian To Take The Fall For His Sister’s Attempted Murder Charge? [VIDEO]
A shocking arrest has been made in A.J.'s (Sean Kanaan) shooting, but the true culprit could soon be behind bars themselves on General Hospital.
Sonny Helps Ava Cover Up The Truth?
Though Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the one who shot A.J. after he confronted her about the night Connie Falconeri died, her brother, Julian (Michael DeVry) is the one who has ended up behind bars, and is currently the prime suspect in the case.
However, in a preview clip for the Friday, March 7 episode, he isn't about to sit in jail and let himself pay for a crime he didn't commit.
"I need you to figure out who shot A.J.," he said to his henchman Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) through the bars of his cell.
Carlos may have a hard time with the new task however, as Ava had contracted him to shoot A.J. before she went through with it. He will have a hard decision to face about which Jerome to be loyal to.
Julian may be the person everyone believes is responsible for the crime because of work that Ava did with her new mob boss, Sonny (Maurice Bernard). She switched sides in the war to remain close to Morgan (Bryan Craig), and Sonny came to her aid after the shooting. Though she may have convinced him that she shot A.J. as an act of self-defense, the two of them may have also come up with a plan to remove Julian from the picture completely so that they can still have control over Port Charles.
Either way, Sonny is involved in helping Ava cover up the crime, and he appears eager to keep Julian behind bars.
"We will take down our enemy," he said to Duke (Ian Buchanan) in the preview clip.
However, despite the assumption that Julian is guilty, he won't necessarily be behind bars for long, as Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is working hard to get him out of jail, and will even try enlisting the help of her recently returned ex, Ric (Rick Hearst).
"Julian Jerome needs a lawyer, and I want it to be you," she said to him.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
