Anticipation for the fifth season of the hit British-American drama, Downton Abbey, continues to build as a few members of the program's cast dished on their hopes for each of their characters moving forward.

Robert James-Collier, who plays Thomas, spoke to PBS about what he refers to as a "bromance."
"In Series One- bromance," James-Collier mentioned, as the clip shows Thomas kissing a man.
"Series Two- no 'mance I'm calling it, see what I did there, no 'mance, no love. We got the backstory while Series Three- bromance with Jimmy; the sleep kiss," he said.
James-Collier also brought up the formula of creator Julian Fellowes, which he went on to describe.
"If I know Julian and his formula, full-on bromance," James-Collier mentioned on Thomas's character. "He's always been unlucky in love so it'd be nice to see him happy for once. I think he deserves it."
As for the part of Mrs. Patmore, actress Lesley Nicol is hoping that the respective role will allow her to interact with Violet.
"I haven't asked him yet, but I'm going to ask if I might have an encounter with Violet," Nicol said. "Well, that would be fun, wouldn't it?"
Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015.
