Rock stars, drugs and groupies are a dangerous mix, and soon the Las Vegas CSI team will find themselves in the middle of an investigation that involves all three during the "Long Road Home." When a prostitute disappears and a groupie turns up dead, D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) and his team will have to find the link between the crimes in order to crack their latest case.
Luckily for them, Simmons will bring Captain Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) a clue of his own. After receiving a phone call from a lover he doesn't remember, the rocker will producer a pair of skimpy ladies underwear that could provide the team with some informative DNA (see video below).

"We're really excited to have Gene Simmons guest-starring on CSI, playing himself in a rock-and-roll-themed murder mystery," said executive producers Don McGill and Carol Mendelsohn in a joint statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Unfortunately for Simmons, his cooperation may not be enough to clear him of suspicion. New episode stills indicate that the bass guitarist will find himself in the interrogation room before the credits role (see gallery above).
CSI airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
