Air Force Colonel Glenn Talbot will soon be asserting his mustachioed presence on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD in a very big way.

Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) will literally make his series debut as a giant eight-foot by six-foot tall face via video monitor on Coulson's (Clark Gregg) suped-up plan, according to Marvel.com.

Known for his dogged pursuit of the Hulk throughout Tales To Astonish and The Incredible Hulk, the acerbic character will make his first appearance on the ABC series at some point in April, although it is unknown why.

However, Pasdar has made it clear that Talbot's role on the program will last for more than just one episode.

"As willing as I am to jump when [Marvel Entertainment's Head of Television] Jeph [Loeb] calls, there had to be a little bit more in it than just an episode for me," Pasdar explained to Marvel.com. "So I can't say much more but the mustache is in a locker and it's being taken out and prepped as we speak for next week."

While Coulson's team is comprised of entirely new characters, Talbot joins a long list of previous and upcoming well-known Marvel characters that have been carefully weaved into Agents of SHIELD.

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Click the video below to see a preview for the series' next episode, "End of the Beginning" and 'Marvel: Assembling A Universe."
