Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) might be going through the wringer on the second half of Once Upon a Time's third season as he deals with the trials and tribulations of romance as well as old enemies.

In the winter finale of Once Upon a Time, Hook tried to use "true love's kiss" on Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in order to restore her memories of Storybrooke, but the kiss was ineffective.

TVLine asked O'Donoghue a fan question inquiring if this kiss would be brought up again as season 3 moves along, and the actor was unsure.

Regina & Robin Hood To Finally Experience "True Love"?

"Maybe," he teased. "Hook has very much put his feelings on the table there for Emma, to sort of take and do with however she wants. So who knows? But I'm sure he probably would really like to have another kiss!"

Another big storyline Hook will have to deal with as season 3 draws to a close is the reemergence of one of his biggest enemies: Blackbeard (Charles Mesure). The evil pirate has a lot of animosity towards Hook because of their troubled history and they will be fighting for control of a ship.

"[Blackbeard] and Captain Hook do not have a lot of love for each other," Once executive producer Edward Kitsis told TV Guide this week. "The only thing two pirates would fight over even more than a woman would be a ship."

The Hook-Blackbeard is likely to occur in episode 17, titled The Jolly Roger.

Once Upon a Time season 3 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
