'Downton Abbey' Season 5 Spoilers: Twitter Post Indicates Simon Bricker Night Scene In Upcoming Installment? [PHOTO & VIDEO]
It looks like Downton Abbey will be getting extra intense in the fifth season based on one of the new actor's latest tweets.
Matt Damon To Join Downton Abbey?
Richard E. Grant, who will play Simon Bricker on the series, posted a photo on his Twitter account of the famous Highclere Castle on Wednesday where he's likely been filming. It appears that there may have been some night shooting taking place since the picture shows the sky as grey and dim while the building is clouded in the dark.
Grant captioned the photo, "This is where I've pitched up today at the 'coal face' of Show business."
Salma Hayek To Join The British Series?
It looks like Grant is enjoying himself on set because someone responded to the photo he posted, asking where this building was. Grant responded, "Highclere castle AKA Downton Abbey. Cast could not have been more welcoming."
While Grant might be having a good time on set, it looks as if there may have been some intensity happening with Grant's post that he wrote on Thursday.
"Glad to be alive kind of day that feels as highly sprung as a gambolling lamb," Grant wrote.
It's unclear if this tweet was related to his filming on the British series although it creates some speculation.
In an interview with Vulture, Grant revealed only a small amount of information on his character.
"I'm allowed to tell you his name is Simon Bricker and that he is an art historian," Grant said. "I'm told if I say anything more my knees will be taken off."
Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015 on PBS.
