As one Port Charles resident nurses a major heartbreak, another's motives for targeting a well-respected doctor are set to be revealed on General Hospital.

Silas Proves His Innocence?

Nathan (Ryan Paevy) has been in Port Charles trying to convict Dr. Silas Clay (John Easton) of murdering his wife, Nina, but has had little luck fully proving his culpability. His aggressiveness has made many question him, and Silas has so far managed to avoid arrest and prove his innocence.

However, with the arrival of Silas' mother-in-law Madeline (Donna Mills), Nathan's motives for being so aggressive in proving Silas' guilt will finally come to light.

Patrick Rebuffs Anna?

"I'm getting justice for Nina after all these years," he said in a preview clip for the Monday, March 17 episode.

Because he is blindsided by trying to prove Silas' guilt, Nathan has been unaware that Nina's real killer has been under his nose the entire time he has been in Port Charles, and so far, Ava Jerome (Maura West) continues to not be a suspect.

Meanwhile, Patrick (Jason Thompson) is continuing to struggle with Robin's (Kimberly McCullogh) departure from town to bring back the dead Cassadine relatives, as well as Jason. He has already rebuked efforts from his mother-in-law, Anna (Finola Hughes) to help him get through his pain, and he will continue expressing his frustration to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).

"I love Robin, but right now, I hate her," he said.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
