'Downton Abbey' Season 5 Premiere: Cora Crawley To Become More Sexually Confident In Future Episodes? [VIDEO]
Elizabeth McGovern, who plays Cora Crawley on Downton Abbey, recently revealed what it's like to play the respective character, and how she connects it with her other life as a musician.
Downton Abbey To Continue After Season 5?
On Monday, McGovern spoke to Daily Mail on March 17 about what it's like to be an actress as well as a rock vocalist for the band Sadie. While she acknowledged it could be difficult, she still tries to stay true to herself.
"I feel bipolar at the moment. I keep jumping from Sadie to Lady Crawley," McGovern said. "But in terms of me, I don't put any strain on myself to be anything other than I am."

McGovern then talked about being in her 50s, and how she still manages to keep her sexuality up.
"I think there's a myth that if you are a woman in your 50s, and you're not Madonna, or if you're not wearing stiletto heels and a corset that you are kind of settled in to middle age," McGovern said.
"But I want to be the one to stay that just isn't the case, I feel your sexuality and the expression of that is at its peak for a woman in her 50s."
Considering that McGovern is going back and forth between being a rock star and the character of Lady Crawley, this could potentially parlay itself into the part of Cora Crawley.
Downton Abbey season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015 on PBS. Be sure to keep checking back with Enstars for more info on the program.
